The 'White on White' Disaster: How to Handle Light & Dark Design Files Without Splitting Your Catalog

If you’re lucky, you catch it before it ships. If you aren’t, your customer receives a “ghost print”—a high-quality t-shirt with a completely invisible design.

To prevent the “White on White” disaster, most sellers get stuck in one of two bad habits:

1. The “Split Listing” Method: You create one product for “Dark Shirts” (White Text) and a separate product for “Light Shirts” (Black Text). This kills your SEO, confuses your customers, and doubles your management work.
